A few months ago, ALBA subsidiary Interseroh decided to launch its Lizenzero online shop for licensing packaging according to the German Packaging Act in China. And with good reason: the provisions of the Act, which require the licensing of all end user packaging, are also fully applicable to all merchants who ship to German consumers from abroad.
To ensure it can offer the best-possible service to the Chinese market, Lizenzero has made a dedicated Chinese site available to merchants in China – and is the first industry supplier to do so. Apart from providing a Chinese-language version of the entire digital licensing process, Lizenzero also offers guides to the Packaging Act tailored to its Chinese audience, video explainers on QQ, a calculation wizard for individual packaging volumes and customer service staffed by Chinese speakers. Lizenzero lets customers settle bills with Alipay and also runs its own WeChat channel. Lizenzero therefore makes it much easier for Chinese merchants to fulfil their Packaging Act duties, and also offers expert advice and assistance by phone, social media and email.
