ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited (ALBA IWS) has published its third Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, covering the company’s ESG performance for 2025.

During 2025, ALBA IWS conducted a comprehensive climate risk assessment for its Hong Kong operations. The report was strengthened in alignment with IFRS S2, while the report also references the Global Circularity Protocol. The company completed a full Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions review, quantifying and reporting 14 of the 15 applicable categories. The report also received independent third-party assurance covering GRI disclosures, greenhouse gas emissions and the overall ESG report.

As the operator of WEEE·PARK, ALBA IWS collected and treated 23,364 tonnes of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), achieving an 85.49% recycling rate and helping avoid 91,376 tonnes of CO₂e emissions.

Operational efficiency was further improved through Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and IoT-based environmental monitoring systems. During the year, WEEE·PARK welcomed 6,864 visitors, while 1,997 refurbished appliances were donated through community programmes.

ALBA IWS received several external recognitions for its ESG performance, including the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence Gold Award (Environmental Industry), the CIWEM Platinum Sustainability Award, the TVB ESG Awards 2025 Best ESG Report (Non-Listed Company), and the Hong Kong ESG Report Award 2025 Best GRI Report (Commendation).
