We were honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from the BERLIN ASEAN Committee, led by the Committee’s Chairman, His Excellency Dr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, the Ambassador of Thailand, visited our state-of-the-art light packaging sorting facility in Berlin Mahlsdorf. This facility is operated by our sister company, Interzero. The delegation also included esteemed Ambassadors such as Her Excellency Pengiran Krtini Pengiran Tahir from Brunei, and His Excellency Chong Hock Lee from Singapore, alongside dedicated representatives from the embassies of Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, and the Philippines.

The primary focus of this visit was to gain valuable insights into Interzero’s expertise in plastic recycling and to explore ALBA Group Asia’s endeavors in the dynamic Asian market. Throughout the visit, our guests had the opportunity to witness firsthand how we seamlessly merge the best practices of both worlds – tailoring solutions to the Asian context while integrating the high standards of European excellence.

Both sides reiterated the immense importance of cultivating robust ties between the ASEAN countries and Germany. We strongly believe that the exchange of experiences and expertise is crucial in advancing the circular economy, benefiting both Europe and Asia.
